Scripture Pics

Each week I will try to post a picture that relates to one of the Revised Common Lectionary texts. These pictures are offered free for you to use to enhance your worship services or your computer desktop.

Psalm 133 - 13th Sunday after Pentecost

Psalm 133

I found out yesterday that our sermon this week at GUMC will be focusing on the psalm. So here's what I'll be projecting on our "Electronic Stained Glass Window".

The Hebrew in the background is supposed to be the first verse of the Psalm. The flower in the upper right is St. John's Wort, also called "Aaron's Beard".

Oops! I wasn't paying attention when I did this one. Actually no one ever said anything about it not being Hebrew before. Not sure why I didn't notice this when I did it. If I still have the source images I'll try to correct it.
